Our intellectual property
The Contextread name, logo, website, and internal methodology remain our intellectual property, whether or not they are used as part of a client project.
Ownership of client deliverables
Ownership of final project deliverables, such as content, designs, or website builds, transfers to you upon full payment, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
License during a project
While a project is in progress or unpaid, we retain rights to the work being produced. You receive a license to review and use drafts for the purpose of giving feedback.
Use of client trademarks in our portfolio
We may reference client names, logos, or completed work in our portfolio or marketing materials, unless you ask us not to. See our Our Clients and Portfolio pages.
Infringement claims
If you believe your intellectual property has been used without permission, contact us and we'll investigate. See our Copyright Policy for how we handle copyright specifically.
