How long Contextread keeps different types of information, and how it's disposed of.
Retention principles
We keep personal and project data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law, whichever is longer.
Client project data
Project files, briefs, and communications are typically retained for the duration of the client relationship and a reasonable period afterward, to support any follow-up work or legal requirements.
Website and analytics data
Website analytics data is retained according to the settings of the tools we use, such as Google Analytics, and is generally kept in aggregate or anonymised form after an initial retention window.
Employee and applicant data
Job applications and related data are retained for a limited period after a hiring decision is made, after which they are deleted unless the applicant is hired or gives permission to keep their details on file. See our Careers Privacy Policy.
Deletion process
When data reaches the end of its retention period, we delete or anonymise it using reasonable technical methods.
Legal hold exceptions
We may retain data longer than usual if required for an ongoing legal matter, dispute, or regulatory investigation.
