What you'll do as a Chartered Accountant
You'll join our Finance & Accounts team, working alongside 150+ specialists across SEO, content, design, and paid media. You'll work on Finance & Accounts for clients across internal finance and accounts for a 480+ client agency — the same industries we've served since 2012.
This isn't a solo role. You'll work with a dedicated account manager and cross-functional team on every account, so your work turns into real results, not just a report nobody reads.

As Contextread has grown to 480+ clients and 3,500+ completed projects, our Finance & Accounts team is expanding to keep turnaround times at 7 to 20 working days without cutting corners on quality.
What this job involves day to day
Invoicing & billing
Prepare and track client invoices and billing schedules.
Bookkeeping
Maintain accurate day-to-day accounts and expense records.
Reconciliation
Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Compliance
Support statutory filings, TDS, and GST compliance.
Reporting
Prepare financial reports and summaries for leadership.
Vendor payments
Process vendor and freelancer payments accurately and on time.
Requirements & skills
Must-haves
- ✓ Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals
- ✓ Comfortable with accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, or similar)
- ✓ High attention to detail and accuracy
- ✓ Reliable with deadlines around billing and compliance
Good to have
- ✓ Commerce degree or professional accounting coursework
- ✓ Experience with GST and TDS compliance
- ✓ Prior experience in a services or agency business
- ✓ Interest in finance automation tools
